The Director of Editing is responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and clarity of all published content. They oversee article drafts, enforce editorial standards, and guide contributors in refining their work. This director works closely with writers to uphold the voice, integrity, and reputation of A.C.P.A. while maintaining grammatical and structural consistency across all formats.
[Director of Health & Human Resources] 2
Tasked with maintaining the well-being of the A.C.P.A. team, this director oversees group morale, member support, and interpersonal respect. They monitor conversations and shared media within the group to ensure a safe, inclusive environment and step in when concerns about mental health, safety, or inappropriate content arise. This director also helps welcome and onboard new members.
[Director of Meteorology] 3
This director delivers accurate, timely weather forecasts by interpreting data from local and national weather stations, including NOAA sources. They collaborate closely with the Director of Communication to enhance forecasts with real-time satellite and signal data, providing detailed reports that may be used for event planning, safety announcements, or educational content.
[Director of Communication] 4
The Director of Communication operates software-defined radios (SDRs), monitors satellite signals (such as from NOAA), and listens to local and state HAM radio frequencies. They serve as the technical liaison for meteorology and emergency reporting, ensuring A.C.P.A. is informed of urgent weather or news developments through direct access to raw data streams and live communication networks.
[Director of Marketing] 5
The Director of Marketing leads all fundraising efforts for A.C.P.A., including managing GoFundMe campaigns and developing other revenue streams. They are responsible for promotional strategy, audience outreach, and working to expand the presence of A.C.P.A. both digitally and within the community through strategic partnerships and consistent messaging.
[Director of Photography] 6
This director oversees all photographic content produced by A.C.P.A. journalists and contributors. They provide guidance on composition, quality control, and ethics in photojournalism. In addition to curating visual content, they may coordinate with the Editing and Marketing teams to ensure strong visuals support written and promotional materials.
[Director of Internal Affairs] 7
Focused on conflict resolution and ethical compliance, this director addresses internal disputes and enforces group standards. With CEO approval, they have the authority to recommend disciplinary action or temporary suspension of members who violate A.C.P.A.’s rules or values. Their goal is to maintain harmony and accountability within the team.
[Director of Recruitment] 8
The Director of Recruitment is responsible for identifying, reaching out to, and onboarding new members into A.C.P.A. They coordinate interest meetings, lead new-member orientations, and help match recruits with suitable roles based on their interests and strengths, ensuring a growing and sustainable.
[Director of Legal Affairs] 9
This director ensures that A.C.P.A.'s work complies with journalistic law and ethical reporting standards. They help protect the organization from legal issues, manage any trademark or copyright concerns, and may act as a liaison with external legal advisors when necessary.
